Wednesday Morning Whiners Club is a group of retired and semi-retired golfers that play a different course every week. Chosen courses are generally within 2 hours of Boones Mill, VA. Fees include $15 for team play and $5 for skats if desired plus golf fees.
In order to become a member of this group you must be nominated and receive 51 percent of members approval.  You will then be allowed to play but not figure into the fees or awards until you play twice to get an accurate point count.

Players under 65 must play from the white tees, Players 65 to 75 play from the "Senior" tees,  Players 76 to 79  will use the forward Tees, and Players 80 and older uses green tees or pink when available..
Rake and place in all sand traps.  If traps are in poor condition the game maker may choose to allow laying out of the bunker in the direction the ball last entered the bunker.

Move the ball up to one standard club length YEAR ROUND.
Free drop off roots and rocks (in line with the pin)
Scores are points based: 1 for bogey, 2 for par, 4 for birdie, 8 for eagle, 12 for Hole-in-One, 16 for albatross.
 Awards gives as follows:2-3 teams = 1 winner.4-6 teams = 2 winners.  7 and above = 3 or 4 winners.
